I am an autonomous photographer and designer, based in the city of The Hague. The core of my work revolves around people, their surroundings, space and habitat in the widest sense of the meaning. My specializations include portraits, documentary photography, architectural photography and cityscapes, still life and fine art. From the day I started as a photographer in 2001 I have specialized in high end digital photography.
Before embarking upon my career as a photographer, I had worked for a period of 20 years for international academic publishing companies, which brought me to many countries around the world.
From very early on in my life, I have been drawing, painting and designing and have never stopped doing so.
My clients include companies, museums and art galeries, governmental institutions and bodies, artists and individuals. My work has been published in numerous books -including his own books-, magazines and newspapers and may be found in many private and public collections.
I have participated in many exhibitions, solo as well as group exhibitions, both in The Netherlands and abroad.
The red spatula, which I use as part of my company logo, comes from my series of still lives from 2001. It adds colour to the logo and aims to symbolize both my traditional craftmanship and my modern way of working.
